Flower farm sales tracking for farmers markets

Cut the right amount for Saturday.

Flowers don't keep. Bring too many buckets and the extras go to compost; bring too few and your stall is bare by ten. TentTally shows you what actually sells, market by market.

Built for a perishable crop

  • Log what you bring and what comes home

Record the bunches you pack and the ones you bring back; the difference becomes your sales. No ringing up every bunch while the line builds.

  • See what sells where, and when

With that load history, the packing list shows sell-through, trends, and seasonality for each market — "sales in June tend to run higher" — so you know what to cut.

  • No stock counts required

Flowers don't sit on a shelf, so you don't have to count them. Only products you log a production batch for are stock-tracked — skip that step and they stay untracked.

  • Weddings and event orders

Track custom orders with the customer, a deposit, and a due date. Your dashboard shows the orders due this week.

Example: one Saturday's zinnias

You pack 40 bunches and bring 12 home. TentTally records 28 sold — a 70% sell-through — and after a few Saturdays at that market, the packing list suggests how many to cut next time.

Questions

Can I sell bouquets and single stems?
Yes. Each is its own product with its own price. Product Groups can keep sizes together — a small, medium, and large bouquet under one tile at checkout.
Do I have to ring up every bunch at the market?
No. Either ring up sales as they happen, or log what you packed and what came home and let TentTally turn the difference into sales. Pick one approach per market so nothing gets counted twice.
Does it work without cell signal at the market?
TentTally runs in your browser and needs an internet connection to save sales. At a market with spotty signal, a phone hotspot works — or log what you packed before you leave and record what came home once you're back in range.
Does it handle CSA or flower subscriptions?
No — TentTally is built for market and event sales. A one-off subscription pickup can be tracked as a custom order, but recurring billing isn't part of it.
